about
For Cartier, I created a series of minimalist 3D motion pieces focused on the Panthère watch and the Étincelle bracelets. While the films were visually restrained, the complexity of the work was shifted from motion to material precision, lighting and texture quality. Particular attention was given to the way diamonds, polished metal and reflective surfaces interact with light, in order to create a refined sense of depth, brilliance and tactility.
The project required a highly controlled approach to product animation, with subtle movements, careful animatic timing and precise highlight direction. Across these pieces, the objective was to elevate simple compositions through detailed materials, polished rendering and carefully crafted lighting, allowing the craftsmanship and preciousness of the jewelry to remain at the center of the image.
